Acupressure

Acupressure can be considered as acupuncture without the needles.

In treatment, physical pressure is applied by the finger tips to acupuncture points on the body with steady but comfortable force and is thought in Chinese medicine to be a way of regulating bodily energy, aiding disease healing and helping health but is particularly effective in pain control.

Coupled with simple exercises this can be a successful way of treating chronic or acute pain caused by strain or similar injuries.
